IRONMAN 2020 events are confirmed. Working together are hotels, the State Government, the City Council and the Organizing Committee to provide you with the proper health measures.
IRONMAN 70.3 Cozumel confirmed September 27th, to cover the distances of: 1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling and 21 km of running!
According to the protocols established by the Federal Government, the Government of the State of Quintana Roo and the City Council of Cozumel, a reactivation plan has been established that will allow us to carry out the events along with the health protocols for the logistics of the event. Preventive actions include:
- Elimination of all non-essential activities and alternate events therefore reducing required services and the number of volunteers.
- Monitoring of competitors, officials, staff and volunteers with the intention of verifying good health and notifying the community.
- Modification of spaces and processes in areas such as: registration, expo, transition, start-up, finish line and recovery, to allow greater distance and reduce interaction between people.
The IRONMAN 70.3 Cozumel 2020 offers qualifying places for the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship 2021.
IRONMAN Cozumel will be held on November 22nd and includes: 3.6 km of swimming, 180 km of cycling and 42 kilometers of running.
